Army Corps EM 385-1-1 Contractor Safety (24 Hours) - The OSHA 30 Hour for Construction is a prerequisite for this class and for the Army Corps of Engineers. This class supplements your OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training with safety procedures and requirements as set forth by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Safety Health Requirements Manual. This course is designed for Contractors and their employees who work on Federal and Military projects where USACE Standards EM 385-1-1, November 2014, are enforced.

Basic Rigging Awareness & Signalman. Day 1 of Basic Rigging Awareness is designed to teach participants the basic principles related to safe hoisting and rigging practices in the construction industry according to 29 CFR 1926.1400 Subpart CC. Day 2 begins the signalman training in which participants will learn and understand the type of signals used during rigging operations and will be competent in using these signals. The Signalman training is based on participant's understanding of crane operations and the limitations of the equipment, including crane dynamics involved in swinging, raising, lowering and stopping loads, and in-boom deflection from hoisting loads. This is a Pass/Fail course.
